ZUMBA - Session 1

The class that started the dance-fitness revolution and changed the way we look at a “workout” forever. It’s fun, effective and best of all? Made for everyone! It is a dance fitness cardio class with roots in latin rhythms. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes, bring water and a towel. Erin has been teaching Zumba since 2014, with hundreds of students across Maine and beyond! Arnis (Escrima or Kali)

Arnis, also called Escrima or Kali, is a martial art and national sport of the Phillipines. The style is particularly well known for its stick, sword, and knife training methods. This 4-class workshop will explore the basics of the art. Wear comfortable shoes and workout clothes, no experience necessary. Expect a light to moderate workout and loads of fun! Registration: $50
Barre Bootcamp - Session 2

Barre Bootcamp with Jenna Chase Barre Bootcamp is a low impact workout that will produce a big burn! Barre combines elements of strength training. Pilates/Yoga and dance. Small movements and many reps will help sculpt and tone muscles you didn't even know you had! This class is offered virtually through Zoom. Equipment that will be used in the class include: a chair or countertop or something to hold onto, light hand weights (3 - 5 lbs), versa loop, gliding disks for hadwood floors or use socks or face cloth for carpet floors or use a paper plate, bender ball (or equivalent). Registration: $44
Each class is taught "live" Mondays from 6:15-7:00am and you will have access to the recordings for a duration of 6 weeks
Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a form of exercise that combines breathing techniques and slow, deliberate movements intended to improve health and muscle tone. Practicing the gentle movements of Tai Chi can calm the mind, strengthen the body, and improve balance. Let Chris be your guide as you work alongside her toward a more peaceful and flexible self. Human Reformer Pilates - Session 2

Human Reformer Pilates is a way to harness the potential of your own body, using it as the ultimate reformer. With just 1 resistance band, you can capture all the postural, core, and alignment challenges that reformer work is famous for - courtesy of Pilates mat programming that mirrors traditional reformer exercises. Equipment that will be used in class includes: a yoga mat, and a Flex Cord or 48" resistant band or something equivalent. Registration: $44

Join Community Services Specialist, Brandi Connor-Vargeson, as she focuses on Medicare to help you sort everything out in order to make informed decisions! Free, but you must pre-register.

Pumped Up Strength is a new approach to resistance training. Utilizing combination movement patterns in a targeted, rhythmic progression, its superpower is the dynamic integration of upper and lower body movements set to fun music.

Babysitter Certification
with Grace Pelletier
For youth ages 11-15 who want to become responsible babysitters! This course is taught by a certified EMT-I, 911 Dispatcher and mom. The goal is to provide youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies while supervising younger children. They will learn basic care, child safety and first aid skills as well as receive CPR training! Participants will receive a take-home babysitter manual, a CPR manual and a course completion card at the end of the class. Pre-registration is required in order for the instructor to be prepared with enough materials. Participants should bring a snack and water bottle.
