The College Transitions Program provides a review of reading, writing and math using both face-to-face and online interaction in the true spirit of current college trends. During the course we'll take tours of local colleges, make vital connections with college community members, and get assistance with the college application and financial aid process. Microsoft Applications & Google Docs, Session 1

Our computer teacher will cover Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) AND introduce you to the Google equivalent of each. You will learn to create and edit letters and documents, work with spreadsheets and create slide presentations for personal and/or business use. Depending on the wants and needs of the class, we may also begin working with tables and graphics. Don’t need to learn the entire Microsoft Suite? We can work with you to give you only what you need! Basic computer experience required. Wednesdays, 6-8pm. Session 1: September 26 - October 24. Registration: $50 per 5-week session.

This two-session class will provide you with all the information you need to add Notary Public to your personal and professional tool kit!  In class one, you will be guided through the process of how to become a notary, professional associations available and some of the ways people are making a living using this skill.  In class two, after you have reviewed the handbook for homework, we will answer questions and work together to complete the application and open-book test.  Leave with a completed application ready to be certified by your town clerk.  Mondays, October 22 and 29 from 6:15-7:30pm.  Registration $24, includes handbook & materials.
