For youth ages 12 and up. Become an informed and valuable childcare provider! This course includes the BLAST program by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Learn about developmental stages, bottle-feeding, diaper changing, safety, and age appropriate activities. Includes American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR and AED use for the adult child and infant. First aid topics include prevention, recognition and treatment for medical emergencies and injuries. Saturday, December 1, 10:30am – 4:30pm. Participants should bring a bag lunch.

Bath and Shower Fizzies are fun to make and are great gifts. Raw materials will be provided for everyone to make a batch of their own bath fizzies to take home. Participants will learn the basics of how to scent, color, and mold. We will also learn about optional additives such as oatmeal, botanicals, embeds, oils and polysorbate. Thursday, December 6, 6-8pm.
Please bring a 2qt or larger mixing bowl, measuring cup, spoon and dish towel (meat baller OPTIONAL). Please bring disposable gloves and a dust mask if you have them.
Bow Hunter Safety

This course is required for a first time Bow Hunting license and will cover such things as proper handling, accessories, safety, laws, ethics and responsibilities. Students MUST first complete the online portion of the course at the link below and bring a completion voucher and survival kit to the face-to-face skills and exam day on Saturday, October 27, 9am-4pm.

Please bring to class: Small wooden piece of furniture cleaned in degreaser such as Dawn. Paint brush. Fine sandpaper. Furniture wax. Rags. Chalk paint (read manufacturer’s suggestion for amount of paint needed for your project).
